Shipping and return policies for products by All Things Cedar
SHIPPING:
Most Orders are shipped UPS ground and usually take between 4 to 9 business days to arrive. Expedited shipping available- email for a ship quote on this service.
Large Truck Freight:
(Freight shipped by Large truck are noted on individual product pages as "Large Truck Item") this may also apply to orders involving a large quantity of items.

Due to size, quantity, or weight restrictions some packages must be shipped by Large Truck. Delivery time for large truck shipping may range from 5 – 12 business days; a tracking number will be emailed within 48 hrs of shipping.

When large truck service is used to deliver an order, the carrier will contact you directly to schedule a delivery time. Delivery must be taken within 48 hours of initial contact otherwise storage fees will apply. Freight deliveries are scheduled on week days only.

When the driver arrives with your shipment it is your responsibility to assist or make arrangements for another person to assist in offloading your shipment. (Most shipments can be unloaded or “hand-bombed” directly off the back deck of the truck.)

If you are unable to assist or require lift-gate service the shipping company can provide a lift-gate truck which will transport your packages, unassisted from the back deck of the truck to the curbside for a $65.00 fee.

If you require LIFT-GATE service you will need to contact our office (403-320-1271) before your shipment is scheduled to arrive. You will need to provide us with credit card details in order for us to process a payment for the lift-gate service. All Things Cedar will contact the freight company to authorize a Lift-Gate truck to deliver your shipment. The dispatcher will contact you by phone to set up a delivery date – at this time you should confirm with the dispatcher that lift-gate service will be provided. ** NOTE** These same instructions will be emailed to you directly in the event large truck shipping is required to deliver your order.

It is important to note that the driver is not responsible for unloading or moving items into the yard, garage or home, or up or down steps.

Large Truck Orders cannot be canceled after shipment. If a freight delivery is refused, freight charges to and from the delivery address will be removed from the refund balance.
**VERY IMPORTANT** It is customer’s responsibility to check that all PACKAGES are accounted for and product and/or carton is free of damage before signing delivery receipt - specific product damage must be notated. If inspection cannot be done in a reasonable amount of time the customer must notate “SUBJECT TO INSPECTION” before signing for the waybill. If concealed damage is discovered, customer must notify All Things Cedar of specific damage within 24 hours. If the above notation or specific damage is not stated on the waybill, we will be unable to replace or otherwise warranty the order. |

RETURNS:
The products made and sold at All Things Cedar are guaranteed to satisfy! If you change your mind about your purchase from us or need to return it for any reason, please email within 15 days for a RA Form. We will make arrangements to exchange, replace, or accept your return and refund you the original amount of the purchase price less shipping. Returns are subject to a 10% restocking fee and must be received in original packaging in new, unused, and undamaged condition. A return for refund does not come under our warranty conditions below, therefore you will be responsible for the cost of return shipping.
WARRANTY REPLACEMENT:
If you receive a defective item, All Things Cedar will at its discretion and expense replace any parts that are found defective within 15 days of purchase. All Things Cedar must be notified by email with supporting pictures of defective item or part. Our 15 day warranty covers the replacement of any defective item or part, it does not cover a refund for a return. If you would like to cancel your order and return the product you will need to make arrangements to return the item to us as outlined in our returns policy above.
SHIPPING DAMAGE:
When receiving delivery of your shipment be sure to open each box and inspect the merchandise before accepting delivery. If you discover you merchandise is damaged refuse delivery or notate damage on shippers copy of freight bill. Then contact All Things Cedar and we will replace the item at no cost to you. If you decide to cancel your order, you will be responsible for returning the item to us as outlined in our returns policy above.
If you accept a damaged shipment without notating the damage on drivers waybill you must notify us by email within 3 days with supporting photos of the damaged product and photos of all internal and external packaging. All Things Cedar will replace your product free of charge however the freight company will not rebate your shipping costs. Therefore You will be required to pay for freight charges involved with shipping the replacement to you. In the event you would like to cancel the order you will need to make arrangements to return the item to us as outlined in our returns policy above.
HOW TO RETURN A PRODUCT FOR EXCHANGE OR REFUND
Request a return authorization number (RA Form): Please email us with the following:

Once you receive your (RA Form), print it out and attach a copy to the outside of each package being returned.

Repackage (if needed) and ship back to us through the shipping method of your choice.

All returns must be accompanied by the RA Form and must be shipped prepaid to our main Canadian or US Warehouse location as stated on the RA Form.

Any shipments returning without this documentation will be refused and no amount will be refunded.

If returning for an exchange we will ship a replacement to you at no charge.

All products must be returned in original factory condition, including all packaging materials, inserts, hardware packs and manuals. Open box items will be inspected and are subject to an additional restocking fee if any of the above components are not found in good order. Coverage for insurance, brokerage, duties on returned items is the responsibility of the shipper. A product that has been shipped back to us in used/damaged condition will be refused or may be subject to an additonal restocking fee. When making a return we will provide a credit for the price of the merchandise excluding the shipping charges. If the product was on a free shipping promotion, the purchase price of the product less the shipping charges incurred will be refunded. No returns will be authorized beyond(15) days after receipt of merchandise. After 15 days the item will be treated as under Warranty. No returns will be authorized for fully and permanently assembled furniture kits. Be it noted that the liability of All Things Cedar Incorporated is limited to and will not exceed the replacement price of your purchase. All things Cedar Inc. will not be held liable for any special, incidental or consequential, damage or injury resulting from the possession, use, misuse or loss of the merchandise manufactured and or sold either directly or indirectly through All Things Cedar including our regular and custom ordered manufactured products, wholesale items, or products made by other companies and sold through All Things Cedar Incorporated.
